--Michael Felt (talk) 13:30, 20 February 2021 (CET) Added the package with openldap libraries embedded. Again, you are not required to use ldap, but you have the option to do so.

[2021-01-26] Sudo version 1.9.5p2 released. Major changes in sudo 1.9.5p2. This version fixes CVE-2021-3156 (also known as Baron Samedit)
which could allow an attacker to obtain root privileges even if they are not listed in the sudoers file.

--Michael Felt (talk) 14:31, 1 November 2020 (CET) repackaged the previous version to include the scripts that do the chown commands for files such as /opt/bin/sudo. See for a description of the problem resolved.

--Michael Felt (talk) 13:41, 3 February 2020 (CET) Version 1.8.31! Notice the change in package name - aixtools.sudo-ldap. As far as I have been able to test this - having OpenLDAP client library support (OpenLDAP 2.4.48) means you have the option of using LDAP, but not be forced to have LDAP client libraries installed (either OpenLDAP, or IBM LDAP (ITDS or SDS).

If you must have support for either IBM LDAP - or no LDAP support at all - get in touch via

--Michael Felt (talk) 13:38, 20 March 2019 (CET) Finally got this posted. Been sitting around for two months. Bad me. If you need ldap support, please get in touch (test the 1.8.26 version with ldap. If that does not work I doubt a newer version will. FYI - ldap drivers are static link of openldap, i.e., AIX (IBM) ldap drivers are not needed.

--Michael Felt (talk) 21:38, 14 November 2018 (CET) Latest version, also available with LDAP support sudo.ldap

--Michael Felt (talk) 20:11, 1 June 2018 (CEST) Now packaging against AIX 6.1 - especially for sudo (as I intend to release an RBAC enabled version).

--Michael Felt (talk) 20:36, 17 April 2018 (CEST) Have this lying around. Finally released to you! See the sudo project for the ChangeLog, CVE's fixed, etc..
